The first tip that will teach you how to not procrastinate is to learn how to prioritize. Make a list of what you need to get done each day, rank the
items from most to least important and do the most important things first. Procrastinators tend to think about things too much, stop thinking and start
doing. In the time you spend thinking about doing something, you could have had the job done. The next tip is to learn how to plan, write things down,
keep appointments on a calendar, and do whatever it takes to plan your time wisely. Doing proper planning will help you make better use of the time you
have which will help you get more done.
People that procrastinate tend to blow the task before them out of proportion. Look at a chore realistically and do the chore quickly. Putting a task
off just makes it seem bigger and more difficult to do, doing what is necessary in a timely manner will keep it from seeming like you have to slay the
dragon to accomplish the task. Stop over analyzing tasks; just take the first step needed to get the job done. You do not always have to have a job
planned all the way to its conclusion before you start the job. When you start a task see it through to the end, do not leave things undone. If you
